Level of Difficulty: Half is Strenuous and Half is Moderate
Hiking Statistics for Loop: 3.47 miles / The Highest to Lowest elevation difference is 602 feet / If you start bushwhacking to the creek from CR# 5570, the hills are steep with the County Road being up high. If you hike down the other gravel road off of CR# 5570 for a ways to where my track shows, the down hill is more gradual but a longer hike to the creek /

The Parking area is located on CR# 5570 and the best way to access the CR is from Hwy 21. From the parking area on CR# 5570, I headed down to the drainage making my way down the steep hills. Once I reached the upper part of the drainage, I went upstream a little ways to WF #1. I then crossed the creek to the left side and followed the creek downstream to WF #2 / A little ways further is Devils Kisses Falls / If you cross there back to the right side, you can sit down and work your way down a couple of levels like I did to get down to the bottom of Devils Kisses Falls but you will have to climb to get back up. Once down there, you will be right in the middle of Devils Kisses falls and the top of The Devils Falls. I took photos and then climbed back up and crossed the drainage to get back on the left side. You need to next cross the other drainage right there and get on the left side of both drainages to get down to the bottom of The Devils Falls. The 2 drainages next to each other make up Devils Kisses Falls. WF 4 is just up the other drainage above Devils Kisses Falls. As you work your way to the very moderate hill to get down to the bottom of The Devils Falls, you will come across Devils Stairway on your left. Keep working your way down hill and to the right to the bottom of The Devils Falls. You are now down in the main creek. After you start heading downstream from there, a little ways down will be Devils Log Falls on your left. After that, head back to creek and go downstream. You will see other waterfalls and the Slide Pool in the main creek while working your way downstream. You will eventually reach where the slot channel starts that leads to the top of Narrow Pour Falls. The slot channel gets narrower as you work your way further downstream and their is a waterfall on both sides running into the channel. I hike on the left side here either up high or right next to and along the channel. I work my way past that right along the slot channel to the top of Narrow Pour Falls. You then have to go uphill on the left side to get down to the bottom of Narrow Pour Falls. This hill is at least twice as steep and tough to get down than the hill to the bottom of The Devils Falls. Slowly work your way up the hill and then around and down down the hill to the bottom. Once in the creek, take a right and head upstream to the bottom of Narrow Pour Falls. Next, as your working your way downstream from there when you are done, you will eventually see Devils Double Overhang Falls to your left. Then a little ways downstream from there, you will see Devils Double Moss Falls to the right of the creek. Waterfall 15 is just a little ways past that downstream. Keep working your way downstream and you will see Lower Skaggs Falls on your right. Work your way up that drainage from there. Skaggs falls is just above that falls. Then work your way up the hill to the top of Skaggs Falls. The hill right to the left of Skaggs falls is steep but it is doable. You can also go along the bluff to the left a ways to find an easier way up if you prefer. Once your back in the drainage above Skaggs Falls, keep hiking uphill along the drainage. You will reach Gateway Falls further up the drainage. This will be the last waterfall along this hike. Keep working your way uphill to the gravel road where the other marker is on the map. These hills are more gradual than the ones you went down if you go the way I do but it is a longer hike to the gravel road. Once you reach the gravel road, take a right and head uphill on the gravel road and you will eventually reach CR# 5570 which is the road you started your hike from. Take a right onto CR# 5570 and hike on that back to your vehicle. You can either hike in the way I do or you can hike to the other gravel road and take a left onto that and hike to the waypoint and then take a left and start bushwhacking to the drainage. If you do the hike this way, you will have to come out where I go into the woods. If you have a second vehicle that is good enough to get down the other rougher gravel road, you can park at both waypoints/parking areas.

Level of Difficulty: Strenuous at the top due to the brush but there is less as you get further down the hills and it becomes Moderate. You can hike down from the top and then cut up to the rougher road like I did on my map and then hike along that road back to CR#5570. If You have multiple vehicles, CR#5550 is down at the bottom of the hollow so you can park at both ends.
Hiking statistics for Loop: 3.66 miles / Highest to Lowest elevation difference is 749 ft
Hiking statistics for one-way hike:
When you start at the top, the hills can be a little steep with much brush but get easier as you get further down the hollow with much less brush.. If you hike all the way to the bottom where parking area B is, the second half of the hike is pretty level. If you hike the loop, you will eventually have to head up hill to a gravel road and then up hill on that road back to CR# 5570

CR 5570 is off of Hwy 21 north of the Ozone Rec Area. It goes east from hwy 21. Turn onto that road and drive to parking area A. If you are hiking the loop, this is the parking area to use. If you are with others and have at least 2 vehicles, you can park another vehicle at parking area B, which is along CR 5550. CR 5550 is off of Hwy 21 also. My friend and I once left my car at the bottom at parking area B and we went in his car to parking area A and started our hike there at the top. From parking area A, head down the hill to the water. If you are using a GPS, you should see where the water is on it. Follow the hollow downstream to the waterfalls. You will first come to Clifty Hollow falls. After I'm done there, I keep working my way down the hollow and will come across 2 others waterfalls. The next waterfall you come across down the hollow will be Tapered Grotto falls after the 2 smaller waterfalls. This is a really cool waterfall. The top is wide but the way the rock is tapered and much more narrow when down below makes you think about how water over time formed that. I still have not been there yet when at least 3/4 of the creek at the top of that falls is full of water. Water would be running down the sides also of  the opening. After I'm done enjoying this beautiful spot, I continue heading down the hollow. You will pass by 3 other waterfalls before you come to a drainage on your right at 35.70550, -93.40776 that has 2 waterfalls up that a little ways. The coordinates have been provided to Nucentric & Stumble falls. After I am done there, I head back to the main hollow and take a right to continue heading downstream. You will come across Clifty cascade just a little ways down the hollow from the drainage. After you leave Clifty Cascade, you will see a waterfall to your left up the hill a little ways. Then, as you work your way down the hollow, you will see 2 more waterfalls in the main hollow. Just a little ways down from those 2 waterfalls, you will see 2 more to your left up the hill a little ways at 35.70176, -93.40664. If you are hiking the loop, work your way up to the top of this waterfall and keep working your way up the hill to the gravel road at 35.70173, -93.40004. Then take a left and hike back up to CR 5570. Once you reach CR 5570, take a left back to your vehicle. If you are planning to finish your hike at parking area B, then head back down into the hollow and keep heading downstream. Along this part is pretty level and a beautiful walk in the woods along the creek. You will eventually reach CR 5550 that crosses Clifty Hollow. Parking area B is to your right.

Level of Difficulty: The first and last parts hiking along the gravel road is easy to moderate / Bushwhacking up hollow and hiking along hills is Strenuous
Hiking Statistics for Loop: 3.82 miles / The Highest to Lowest elevation difference is 624 ft.
These hills are very steep as you get close to Emerald Hollow falls. They are some of the steepest and can be challenging.

The parking area is at Horsehead Lake on the right just after you drive through Horsehead Creek. You can type in Horsehead Lake Rec Area on google maps to help guide you to the lake which is on the other side of the creek so you have to drive through the creek to reach that also. Park over to the left so that you don't block the road to some pieces of private property. Start hiking on that gravel road that goes along Horsehead Creek and when you come to a fork, take the road on the left that goes up hill. You will eventually see water crossing the road and hear water falling. A waterfall will be on your right. This will be the first waterfall you come across. You will have to back track some to get below that waterfall and the same to get back on the gravel road where you were above it. I've seen some people drive up this gravel road with Jeeps as well as some people riding their horses. If you put the coordinates in that I provided into your gps, follow the gravel road that will lead you to those. As you are hiking along that gravel road, you will see Emerald Hollow to your right. You will see a cascade down there eventually. I usually will get off the road and hike down to that cascade and then hike back to the road and continue on that road. Further up that road, you will see Little Emerald Falls to your right. I hike down to that and then back up to the road. Hike on the road until you reach where the road crosses Emerald Hollow. Just before that, you will see another waterfall on your right. If you look up the hollow while still on the road, you will see a big shelter up there. I start hiking up on the left side of Emerald hollow after going to the last waterfall and then cross the creek to reach  the shelter. After you are finished there, start hiking up Emerald hollow. You will pass by many small waterfalls. Eventually you will reach a fork. The main hollow is to the left and it is a branch on the right that runs into the hollow. I always go to the left and stay in the main hollow when hiking up the creek. You will pass by another waterfall before you reach Emerald Hollow falls. When you are done there, use the hill on the right side to get up to the top of the falls. The hill takes you up high and then after you take a left to go along the hillside, you will have to go down the hill some to get back into the creek to see the other waterfalls. While you are working your way downhill, you will see another waterfall just above Emerald Hollow falls. I always keep going until I am at the top of that falls and in the creek. It is easier to get to the bottom of that waterfall from Dunlop falls, which is in a drainage to the left of that falls.  After you get down to the top of the waterfall above Emerald Hollow falls, look up the hollow and you will see Prudence falls. I hike up to that and spend some time there. When you are done there, head up the hillside and hike along it over to that drainage mentioned that was on the other side of the hollow. You will see to your left Dunlop falls. I always stay up until I'm above the lower part and then I head down hill below the upper part. Dunlop falls has an upper and lower part.  After I am done there, I head down the drainage to get below the lower part. After that, I head down the drainage to that other waterfall just above Emerald Hollow falls. When I am done there, I work my way back up to being in front of Prudence falls. Then I work my way back up the hill on the right that I was on earlier to reach Prudence falls. While you are working your way up the hill, you will see the bluff that you had seen earlier when you were working your way to Prudence falls. Hike all the way up to where you are just below the bluff and go to the right There are some nice shelters up there. Work your way along the bluff to that drainage you passed by earlier that was on your right at the fork. While you are working your way along that bluff, you will see a hill to go up on your left. That hill will take you up to the Hoodoo rock formation, which was named by Daniel Frew. I provided the coordinates to the Hoodoo. Work your way up that hill and you will see the Hoodoo to the left. I hike over to it and spend some time there. When you are done, head back down to where you were earlier right along the bluff. Then keep working your way to the drainage. Eventually, you will have to start heading down hill some at an angle where you are still working your way to the drainage but getting lower where you can reach the drainage at a point where you will be below Hammerle falls. When you see Hammerle falls to the left from a distance, start working your way to get down into the drainage. There is another waterfall down there but you want to be above that where you can hike directly to Hammerle falls so don't go too far down. I then hike up to Hammerle falls in the drainage and spend some time there. After I am done there, I head on down the drainage to that other waterfall I was just talking about. Work your way along the hillside to get below that waterfall. After you are done there, keep working your way down the drainage and eventually you will get back to the fork that you were at earlier. There are other waterfalls along the way as you work your way back to the fork. When you reach that fork, take a left and head down the hollow back to the gravel road. Take a right onto the gravel road after you reach it. Follow that gravel road back to the parking area.
